A few days ago, while I was having tea with some of colleagues in Zurich, the conversation swerved from Alps to Himalaya crossing the Black sea, Caucasus mountains and Caspian Sea and the land in between. “The high peaks of Himalaya is somewhat like Shangrila, the peaceful settlements and friendly people and all around the glory of snow capped mountains, it is such a hilarious place worth visiting once in a lifetime”, said one among the Europian colleagues. I asked him “You say it is like El Dorado?” No, No way ! No one has ever found El Dorado despite some centuries of desperate searches, but you see there is a beauty and existance of Shangri~la. I do neither know much about the Shangri~la nor much about the El Dorado, but of course the magic prevails along the chain of Himalaya and warm hearted people of chilling cold settlements in the river valleys.
